INTEGRATED OCCUPANCY SERVICES?

Integrated Occupancy Services (IOS) are a comprehensive group of project planning and management services design to enhance the services currently offered by GSA. The IOS contract will allow GSA and its client agencies access to a wealth of technical and logistics expertise in the following areas through one single source contract vehicle:

Estimating

Information Systems Planning
Move Management

HOW DID THE IOS CONTRACT
BECOME AVAILABLE?

Individual agencies are responsible for planning and coordinating many of the complex activities involved in a major move or large-scale reorganization.
Agency personnel, however, often do not have the expertise or time to coordinate a project of such magnitude. Furthermore, many of these issues must be addressed by the agency before GSA can provide programming, space planning and other related technical services.

GSA recognized a requirement for a contract that will provide a resource pool of project management expertise to supplement and support the agencies in-house resources.
